In recent years, this statement has gained a lot of traction. To deliver an all-inclusive experience, a company must first understand its customers’ behavior, desires, and expectations.
Without a balance of risk and reward, a great company plan is incomplete. Analysis of business performance is also crucial since it reveals the aspects that influence the success or failure of an idea. The accuracy of predictive models for many types of business processes has always intrigued me as a Software Engineer. The analysis’ output is a critical aspect in defining the company’s competitive advantage and market position. I am convinced that my background in Computer Science and software programming matches the requirements of a graduate degree in Business Analytics. My desire to study at your esteemed institution stems from a strong desire to pursue additional studies in order to pursue an intellectually satisfying job in this sector.
My analytical skills and technical understanding of computer science, programming languages, hardware, and coding were much enhanced by the Bachelor’s course. Throughout my four years of engineering, I read and experimented with many data structures to learn about theoretical principles. The actual application of theory created a strong basis for me, and it also improved my performance on projects and college assignments.
The ‘Library Management System Project’ was my senior project. The project’s goal was to automate library administration. The technology makes it simple to organize books into categories and distribute them to registered and non-registered readers. The system also kept track of all library transactions, including timely book returns, payments, and new book accounts. The project was a huge success, and the system was eventually installed in the college library. My efforts and originality were also recognized. Following that, I grasped the significance of such accomplishments since they inspired me to do better.
In 2016, I was hired by Mphasis Ltd as a Software Developer in their Application Services Vertical after completing my Bachelor’s degree at IIT-Kharagpur. I was given the task of creating apps for Enterprise Resource Business Planning projects. In 2018, I was offered a position with Fractal in India, where I am currently employed as a Consulting Analyst. I was a member of the team that created high-tech solutions for Fractal’s healthcare customers. Currently, I work in Fractal’s Product Development division, producing Analytics products for a variety of business users. ‘Cuddle,’ for example, is an AI-powered tool that performs a variety of tasks, such as brand marketing analysis and CPG analytics, and provides actionable insights into decisions, strategies, and processes via the user’s mobile device. It is the only product in this domain that uses a per-active-user payment model to provide quick responses to data requests.
Tennis is my most well-known and respected participation, aside from my educational background. In 2017 and 2018, I competed in tournaments organized by the All India Tennis Association (AITA). In the National Tennis Championship Tournament, I reached the semi-finals. I enjoy playing the mandolin in addition to tennis.
I rely on my good understanding of the technical requirements in this industry, as I have substantial experience with Analytics and similar technologies in a client-facing capacity. I’d also like to do research in related fields with the potential for innovation. After finishing my graduate studies, I want to work with internet giants like Google, Facebook, and others. In the long run, I’d like to work with industry experts to share and implement ideas that align with my professional ambitions while also benefiting the community.
