I have always been fascinated by how people can come together to achieve a common goal and produce incredible achievements. Though I enjoyed supervising my class in school, controlling my students and directing them toward a common objective may be difficult at times. Project Management and its importance in the successful execution of any venture were taught to me in college. Because there are so many factors that go into the successful operation of any team, I began to reflect on my abilities to plan, manage people and time, meet deadlines, and implement various ideas. I realized my natural abilities in the field of project management. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, I now wish to pursue a degree in Project Management, which will surely help me achieve my career objectives.
My approach to learning altered when I enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering program at PCTE – Institute of Engineering and Technology in Punjab, India. I began to place a greater emphasis on the practical application of the theories and concepts covered in class. Building Planning and Drawing, Building Materials, and Construction Technology not only piqued my interest in Civil Engineering but also provided me with a solid foundation. One of my short-term objectives is to study these subjects thoroughly at a university level. I worked on a variety of projects and worked diligently to ensure the highest quality, accuracy, and productivity.

After graduating from Civil Engineering in 2017, I began working for JSW Energy as a Junior Civil Engineer. I spent four years working on a hydroelectric project in North India. This massive project spanned a vast hilly area, with the hydro dam being built on one of India’s longest rivers. I mostly worked in quantity surveying, dam safety, and budgetary compliance departments. Safety testing, calculating the safety cost, analyzing safety problems, and quality control were all part of my responsibilities. Mediation, project management, team building, dispute resolution, and negotiation were also on my resume. I was able to regularly attain outcomes with a collaborative attitude by utilizing numerous management techniques. I was promoted to Senior Dam Safety Engineer in 2019. Since then, I have been in charge of a team of 50 individuals, which is an essential component of my job. This position has allowed me to put my project and team management skills to use. During this time, I could also learn new abilities that enabled me to overcome time limits and flaws in my work and attitude.
Aside from my studies, I enjoy composing poetry and performing stand-up comedy. In my spare time, I associate with poetry groups and stand-up comedians to collaborate on events and shows in other places. I believe that comedy is the core of existence and that life would be a mechanical activity without it. I enjoy making others laugh and removing their anxieties for a brief while. Humor allows us to unwind and accept reality with ease. In the future, I hope to continue performing stand-up comedy and writing poetry for a wide range of audiences.
Aspirations:
My goal with a Master’s in Project Management is to work on multinational building projects requiring extraordinary project execution. I am confident in my ability to generate ideas and turn seemingly impossible plans into reality. Many organizations produce the best products on the market, but owing to a lack of project management, their ideas are never implemented. I want to figure out the most efficient and innovative ways to lead a team and lead them to success.
